100 Women Who Care Northern Virginia is a simple, yet impactful way for women to give back in the Northern Virginia community. Our mission is to make the greatest possible impact by bringing together like-minded, effective, diverse, and informed philanthropists.
The concept is simple: we meet each quarter and learn about three nonprofits from members who nominate and present. The group then votes on who they want to direct their funds to for that quarter and the nonprofit with the largest support is selected to receive funding. All votes are made by private ballot. All members donate $100 for a collective and impactful donation.
Is this democratized giving? Is this a giving circle? Is this collective giving? Yes! And, we welcome all who want to help make a difference in the lives of all people living in our community.
