Are you looking for a simple, yet impactful way to give back in the Northern Virginia community? Then 100 Women Who Care may be the right group for you. We represent two giving circles focused to making collective donations to local nonprofits in Northern Virginia and Loudoun County. With a chapter focused on giving in Fairfax/Arlington/Falls Church/Annandale/Springfield/Alexandria and one focused on donating to Loudoun County chapters, we encompass our region. Since the NoVa chapter founding in the spring of 2012, we have given over $90,000 to small nonprofits making a difference right here in our back yards and the Loudoun County Chapter is only getting started.
The concept is simple: 100+ women meet once per quarter and learn about three nonprofits from members who nominate. The group votes on who they want to direct their funds to for that quarter and the nonprofit with the largest support is selected to receive funding from the group that quarter. Members write $100 checks for a collective and impactful $10,000+ donation that quarter.
We are open to all who want to help make a difference. We hope you will consider joining us!
